The Owner may NOT answer questions received after 2:00 p.m. five business days prior to the bid opening. The Owner will not be responsible for any oral interpretations. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. No pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled, Contractors are strongly encouraged to independently visit the site. Substantial Completion shall be achieved by June 13, 2025. Final Completion shall be achieved by June 30, 2025. he undersigned agrees to pay the Owner as liquidated damages the sum of $225 for each consecutive calendar day that is in default after the Contract Time. Liquidated damages shall be deducted from the Contract by Change Order. All bids may be held 45 calendar days from bid opening date. At the end of this period, the three lowest bids may be retained for 15 additional days, or as may be further extended by the Owner with the approval of the bidding companies. The lowest responsive bid and responsible bidder is based upon the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract amount based on any or all of the bid items listed, to restrict the contract amount to the funds available, and to reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever and waive informalities.
