**As of April 18, 2025, the project was awarded to PoolServ, LLC but the awarded amount is not available.** The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified companies to replaster two (2) pools at Silver Springs Recreation Center, located at 1951 Silver Springs Parkway, Henderson, Nevada. Question Deadline 02/25/2025 at 12:00 PM PT A. Contractor shall perform all Work and provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to replaster two (2) pools at Silver Springs Recreation Center, as shown in Attachment A, Aerial Image. The lap pool measures 42' x 75' and the depth ranges from 3.5' - 6'. The diving pool measures 34' x 45' with a depth of 12'. The kiddie pool is not included in this scope of work. This project includes replacing pool accessories and features as detailed below. Contractor will be responsible for completing the work per the specifications and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and Southern Nevada Health District ("SNHD") standards. a. Pool Replastering: i. Remove the existing pool plaster using the hydro blast method only. ii. Apply new plaster with a 33% quartz mix across both the lap pool and the diving pool. iii. Brush and vacuum pools for the initial curing period, as recommended by plaster material manufacturer (e.g. daily, for two (2) weeks, then three (3) times per week for one (1) month). b. Replacement of Pool Components: i. Jigs: Replace all jigs as needed. ii. Lights Niches: Replace all lights niches. All lights to be white LED. iii. Ladders (Inset): Install new inset ladders for easy pool access. iv. Metal Rope Anchors: Replace metal rope anchors used for lane lines or other attachments. v. Pole Holders: Replace pole holders if applicable. vi. Waterline & Race Lane Tile: Remove and replace all waterline tile. Replace any missing or broken race lane tile. All surrounds get new tile 36" from return termination. vii. Returns: Replace all pool returns and install 36" tile surrounds at each return location. viii. Replace drains and bring them up to current code, as applicable. c. Install all required depth markers in compliance with SNHD standards. d. Contractor responsible for draining, filling and startup of the pools. Work cannot start until August 12, 2025. all Work shall be complete within sixty (60) days
