Peninsula South All-Ages-and-Abilities (AAA) Bicycle Network (University Ave, Morris Street and the West Connection). Project involves construction of protected bikeways on University Ave and Morris Street, as well as a local street bikeway route for the West Connection. The West Connection is defined as Seymour Street, on the sought side of University Ave, South Street between Seymour and Cartaret, Cartaret Street, and Oakland Rd. from Beaufort Ave to Robie Street. Project will be delivered in three phases: Phase 1 University Ave from Le Marchant St. to Robie St., and the West Connection. Phase 2 University Ave from Robie St. to South Park St. Phase 3 Morris Street. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals from engineering consultants for preliminary and detailed design services closed at the owner in March 2025. This project has been cancelled. No design or construction is expected to ensue.
