Weslaco ISD is currently accepting proposals for the above listed. **Please contact Baldemar Garcia, Purchasing Director or Robert Rodriguez, Purchasing Specialist at Weslaco ISD Business Office (956)969-6572 if you have any questions or issues regarding this proposal.** The awarding of the proposal will take place at the WISD public school board meeting. The Weslaco ISD School Board reserves the right to accept, reject any and/or all proposals, waive minor technicalities, or to award the proposal to the most responsible offeror which best serves the interest of, and provides the best value to, the District. Weslaco Independent School District currently has one UPS at each Main Distribution Frame (MDF) or Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) closets. The new UPS's from this RFP will be replacing the existing UPS's installed. Each new UPS must be managed on the network. Installation and configuration of the NEW UPS's at sixteen (16) campuses. The vendor must perform the following. . Removal of old UPS equipment to make space for the new equipment. . Rack and stack new equipment with all necessary connections. . Must provide information to the district on NEMA receptacle and Amperage required of new UPS's. Weslaco Independent School District will be responsible for providing the correct electrical NEMA receptacle with the correct amperage required for the input of the new UPS equipment. Once the vendor removes the old UPS from the rack at the campuses, the District staff will remove it from the campus
