Reference Number 0000375571 Any department in Chemung County may utilize this contract to assist County maintenance and construction crews during natural disasters, on specific projects or as a separate workforce to assure projects are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. This Service Contract is not intended for major building additional renovations and/or major new construction projects. Bidder selection shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder: Bidder's past performance and experience on similar project work. Bidder's requested qualifications may include management and organizational resources,project experience and references, experience of key personnel, equipment availability, ability to adhere to schedules, innovation and creative problem solving, quality assurance, and acceptable construction experience with Chemung County. The owner has sole discretion to evaluate bidder qualifications and down rate or reject inexperienced, inefficient, or vague responses. Chemung County reserves the right to award any or all items to multiple vendors to accommodate project variables. Contractors shall furnish all the necessary labor, tools, and equipment to construct, reconstruct or maintain Chemung County highway infrastructure based on project scheduling and staff demands.
