City of Fairbury 306 Transmission Line - Phase I Sealed proposals for the labor to construct the electric project of City of Fairbury The Project will consist of furnishing labor and equipment for the construction of approximately 0.5 miles of 69 kV transmission line (34.5 kV operated) and 0.5 miles of transmission line pole replacement. This also includes the removal of 0.5 miles of transmission line and 0.5 miles of pole removal. The Owner will supply all material for this project. Construction is to commence on or before April 7, 2025 and be complete by May 2, 2025. The project is located in Jefferson County approximately four miles north of the town of Fairbury, Nebraska. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in form attached or a certified check of a bank that is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, payable to the order of the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum bid price. The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or, at its sole discretion, may reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price.
