The purpose of this document is to provide general and specific information for the use by suppliers in submitting a bid to supply the City of Riverside with apparatus, supplies, material and equipment, and / or services for the specified project. This contract is a one-time purchase. The pump track facility is proposed to be located at Rohrer Park to the north of the parking lot on the adjacent concrete pad (red figure below). No proposals will be entertained unless submitted in accordance with the requirements outlined in the RFP. The City of Riverside reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to award contracts to the bidder they deem most capable of meeting the requirements contained in the RFP. The City of Riverside reserves the right to reject all bids and issue a subsequent request for proposals if deemed necessary based on the responsiveness of the opened proposals. Anticipated Award Date: March 3, 2025 Standard of Bid Award Acceptance. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of the City of Riverside. The City reserves the right to request pricing on optional equipment or additional items along with the pricing for the main or primary product or items. At the discretion of the City, some or all of the options requested may or may not be added and purchased based upon necessity and the availability of budgeted funds. Bid date notes: All bids shall remain sealed prior to being publicly opened. a. The concrete pad is approximately 60 feet by 120 feet. b. The proposed pump track should comply with the following dimensions: i. General shape is an oval loop ii. Width: not less than 38 feet, but not greater than 48 feet. iii. Length: not less than 80 feet, but not greater than 100 feet. c. Features i. Include features to help riders gain confidence and control while riding; ii. Be suitable for as broad range of ages and abilities as reasonably feasible; iii. The proposed track should have good flow, defined as a predictable rhythm, based on a regular pattern.
