Renovation of a municipal facility in Gatineau, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Modernization of Lighting in MacDonald Room. The current boardrooms lighting level is too low which interferes with the existing audio visual and video conferencing equipment. The camera often goes in and out of focus and creates issues for the users during their meeting. We consulted with our internal av team, and we have been advised that a lighting designer expert with the knowledge and experience of the lighting and av system is recommended, and the lighting should not be linked to the av/vc system. It is recommended to use light switches that offers pre-set settings for different modes that should be identified and will need to be designed by the consultant. TIMELINE: Contract for engineering services to complete design and monitor construction work has been awarded. Reference Number: 0000286806. Tender and construction timelines will be established according to the owner's internal scheduling. Further update in winter, 2025/2026.
