Awarded Contract I - Sunesis Construction Contract II - RDR Utility Services Group Contract 1, Richland Avenue Lift Station Improvements, include construction of a new lift station facility and associated structural, architectural, process piping, electrical, and mechanical improvements. Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same. The proposal shall also be accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid, or by a cashier's check for ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Athens, Ohio, conditioned that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into within sixty (60) days after notice of acceptance. A performance bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract with a satisfactory surety company, conditioned according to law, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Engineers Estimate for Contract 1: $5,660,000.00. The final completion date for all work is August 28, 2026. The City of Athens reserves the right to waive informalities as may be in its best interest.
