Re-Advertisement for Bids Catawba County Schools Maiden Middle School HVAC Replacement Catawba County Schools, North Carolina is seeking bids from General Contractors for the above referenced project. Project Description: The project consists of replacing the existing HVAC system, controls, and fire alarm including associated plumbing, electrical, roof, and ceiling work required for the installations. The project also includes interior alterations for a new security vestibule. Bid Submittal and Opening: Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: Bid Date: March 20, 2025. Bid Time: 2:30 p.m., local time. Location: Catawba County Schools Center for Administrative Services, Conference Room C, 2285 North Anderson Avenue, Newton, North Carolina 28658. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Printed Bidding Documents: Obtain after February 6, 2025, by contacting Holland & Hamrick Architects, P.A. One complete set of documents will be provided to prime bidders only, upon deposit of $150.00 made payable to the Owner. The Catawba County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
