This Contractor shall supply all the labor, material and equipment necessary to remove & legally dispose of all doors, frames & hardware, and install new doors, including but not limited to A. Hollow metal frames B. Trim, casings, closures and similar pressed metal work C. Interior Wood Doors 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program and 2024-25 Capital Improvement Program Contract 2 - Roof Replacement Each Bidder must deposit, with their sealed bid, security in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid and all Alternate Bids in the proper form subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders (Section 8).All certified checks or bid bonds must be paid to WILLIAM FLOYD UFSD. Performance Bonds Labor/Material Bonds and Maintenance Bond, as called for in the General Conditions are a requirement of each contract. The bid deposit for hard copies shall be refunded to each Bidder only if the plans and specifications are returned in good condition, with no handwritten notations thereon within thirty (30) days following the award of the contract or the rejection of the bid of such person or corporation. Unsuccessful bidders who request more than one (1) set of the plans and specifications will be partially reimbursed for extra sets in accordance with General Municipal Law 102 if returned in good condition, with no handwritten notations thereon, within thirty (30) days following the award or rejection of the bids. Each Bidder shall agree to hold their bid price for (45) days after the formal bid opening. The WILLIAM FLOYD UFSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid, and/ or to accept any bid in whole or in part and/ or to award or not award the contract, if in the opinion of the WILLIAM FLOYD UFSD, the best interest of the SCHOOL DISTRICT will thereby be served. This invitation is an offer to receive bids for a contract. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a formal contract in the form contained in the Contract Documents.
