Site work for a mixed-use development in Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Midnight Run Park (PID: 41453127). Construction of a new park space to be located in the Indigo Shores subdivision - on the north side of McCabe Lake in Middle Sackville. The space will include a parking lot, sports courts, playground, multi-use field, jogging trail and baseball diamond. TIMELINE: Project is in final design stage. A total of three tender packages are expected for this project - construction will be phased: Phase 1 - Site works (grading/drainage) tender and start of construction are expected in late 2026/2027. Phase 2 - Playground, courts/parking lot and walkway paving tender/construction in 2027. Phase 3 - Playing fields tender/construction in 2028. *The total $4.85 million estimated budget covers all seven park parcels in the subdivision. The the vast majority of this $4.85 million is physically earmarked for Midnight Run Park's development. However, the specific budget of this project has not been finalized.
