Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dixon, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of a new Welcome Center building, at the Canaan Ridge Park located at 1600 State Route 132 W. Dixon, KY. 42409. The project includes a new 1,600 sq. ft. slab on grade stick framed building with a 216 sq. ft. front porch. In addition, sidewalks and an ADA parking spot will be constructed. Every request for such interpretation should be via email fwilliams@rjaengineering.com or in writing addressed to C. F. Williams, P.E. at Ronald Johnson & Associates, 24 W. Center St, Madisonville, Kentucky 42431. A. A bid guarantee from each bidder equivalent of five percent of the bid price. A bid bond is required for this project. B. A performance bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A performance bond is required for this project. C. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for 100 percent of the contract price. A payment bond is required for this project. MBE (0%), WBE (0%) This project consists of a new 1,600 wood framed building with a front porch to house a new welcome center at the Canaan Ridge Park in Dixon, Webster County Kentucky. The Canaan Ridge Welcome Center is to be constructed based upon the layout as depicted in the plan set. Contractor to fully review all plan sheets and in particular plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Contractor to supply ALL materials necessary for a fully functional building as designed. WFC will supply all applicances, toilet fixtures (refrigerator, microwave, sink, toilet, and water heater). Contractor shall install, along with all ADA required items in restroom. Any errors/issues shall be brought to the attention of the engineer immediately. Welcome Center Base Bid: o Interior/ Exterior Man Doors AND Frames: 1. All frames, doors and hardware necessary by code enforcement and ADA compliant o Concrete Floor: 1. New concrete shall be 4 in. concrete floor (3500 psi) with sealer over 4 in. compacted DGA. DGA to be provided and installed by County. Floor finishes to be sealed concrete, non skid inside restroom and mechanical. 1. o Wood Framed Building: 2. Wood studs and framing as shown on plans o HVAC: 1. Contractor to verify size and flow, furnish all mechanical equipment and controls. Contractor to furnish complete duct system, wiring, etc. with vents to restrooms and offices. 2. Provide exhaust fans for restroom, All fans to be ducted to outside either roof or sidewall 3. HVAC permit to be obtained by contractor o Plumbing: 1. All waste shall discharge into a septic tank provided and installed by owner. Contractor shall make connection to septic waste line provided by WCFC, 5 feet outside building. 2. Domestic water piping shall be installed connected to a water line provided by WCFC, 5 feet outside of building. 3. Install all WCFC provided bathroom and kitchen fixtures as shown on plans, in addition to the plumbing permit. o Electrical Scope as Follows: 1. Contractor to provide outlets, lights, and conduits, etc as shown on plans 2. Interior restroom lights to be operated by motion detector switch 3. Outside lights to be operated by dusk/dawn and/or manual switch o Thermal & Moisture Protection 1. Insulation-and vapor barrier as shown on plan o Kentucky Building Code All portions of the concessions/restroom building renovation shall be in full compliance with the latest edition of the Kentucky Building Code.
