Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sugar Land, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A. Base Bid Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Site preparation, tree protection, selective demolition, pavement and site element removal, and furniture relocation. 2. Construction of parking lot pavement, curbs, catch basins, and parking island landscaping. 3. Installation of a new waterline and connection to the City main. 4. Installation of irrigation; grading adjustments; and hydroseeding/hydromulching of fields. 5. Installation of playground walls and ADA-compliant sidewalks. 6. Dumpster enclosure renovation. 7. Adjustment of existing utilities as needed. B. Add Alternate #1 Work includes, but is not limited to: A. Tree protection and sidewalk demolition. B. Bench reinstallation and new ADA-compliant sidewalks. C. Installation of decomposed granite around the park building and resodding of the area south of the building. C. Add Alternate #2 Work includes, but is not limited to: A. Tree removal, light pole relocation, and light re-aiming. B. Construction of a 210' x 345' synthetic turf field and underground detention system. C. Installation of related ADA-compliant sidewalks, fencing, benches, and furnishings. Questions Deadline: October 30, 2026, 5:00pm. The City Council will award the contract as provided in the Invitation to Bid. The City of Sugar Land will give notice of the contract award within ninety (90) calendar days after the opening date and time. However, the City, at its sole discretion, may extend the contract award period up to 180 days following the date specified for the opening of bids.
