Beaufort County seeks proposals from qualified firms to assist in the 2020 Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program grant awarded to Beaufort County to elevate eight (8) single-family residential structures throughout the County. Site visits are available and may be scheduled through Mid-East Commission. Flood Mitigation Assistance grant projects do not allow for budget overruns, budget amendments or change orders affecting the budget amount. The total budgeted amount for this project is as follows: Elevation/Construction $1,141,296.00 Engineering and Feasibility $144,000.00 Termite/LBP Inspection & Abatement $17,600.00 Pre/Post Mitigation Surveys $24,800.00 Homeowner Relocation $24,000.00 Total: $1,351,696.00 The County reserves the right to reject any or all submissions or any portion thereof and to accept the submission deemed most responsive and most advantageous to the County.
