Site work for a water / sewer project in Utica, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a 5,500-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Project Description: Construction of updated facilities for the Village of Utica WWTP. Facilities for improved proposed operation include Headworks, Pumps station, Dewatering equipment, and dried sludge storage. Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the base bid is $4,451,755.00. Question Deadline 02/26/2025 at 8:00 AM ET All questions concerning the project should be directed to Damon Fulk at Environmental Design Group, 740-334-8577, dfulk@envdesigngroup.com and shall be submitted in writing . All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of the project. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and scope. Each bidder is required to furnish with his proposal a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid bond may be in the form of a bid guarantee, letter of credit for 100% of the project, or certified check from a solvent bank or cash in the amount of 10% of the total bid submitted. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide such surety. Checks should be made payable to the Village of Utica. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the Federal Davis Bacon prevailing wage rates in Licking County and the Village of Utica, Ohio. Financing for the Village of Utica Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement- Phase 1 Project has been provided through the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC), the Ohio Department of Development (DoD), and the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account (WSRLA). The bidder shall abide by all requirements of the funding providers. BUY AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN HOUSE RESOLUATION 3547, CONSOLIDATED APPROPIATIONS ACT OF 2014 APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. Bidders are required to use the bidding forms included in the contract/bidding specifications. Bid guarantees/bid bonds will be returned to all unsuccessful bidders. The owner intends and requires that this project be substantially completed no later than 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids. Also, the Village reserves the right to reject the bids of any bidder if the Village believes it would not be in the best interest of the Village to make the award of that bid; whether because the bid is not responsive or the bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standards or criteria established by the Village.
