This project includes the construction of 3,500 LF of 24-inch water distribution pipeline, designated as Water line A (WL-A) , through the Hillwood property. The proposed 24 water line will connect to the City of Fort Worth s existing 42 PCCP water line, located adjacent to the intersection of Intermodal Parkway and Old Blue Mound Road. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to Town of Northlake in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
