The complete replacement of the roof at West Elementary will take place this summer after the school year is finished. School Business Manager Craig Mobley said he was anticipating bids to come in much higher for the project, but the district is excited for the bid of $211,000 they received from CMBA Architects . “I’m very happy with those results. We had three bidders and the low bid came in at $211,000 so I’m very happy with that. It was a lot less per square foot than we were anticipating so we will look forward to that project this summer and getting that roof replaced.” This project is expected to be completed by August 1st. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This project consists of a Roof retrofit & partial replacement to West Elementary School.
