Site work for a water / sewer project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This phased project replaces approximately 1800 feet of 1960s vintage 8 cast iron water main with 12 ductile iron, and includes replacing hydrants. The scope is from Jordan Hall (Faucette Drive) to Morrill Drive and then along Morrill Drive to Rocky Branch Creek. Morrill Drive is a very busy campus thoroughfare and will require careful traffic control. North Carolina State University is seeking qualification statements from general contractors for improvements to the Morrill Drive and Phase II Campus-Wide Domestic Water Line Replacement, located in NC State's Central Campus Precinct. This phased project replaces approximately 1800 feet of 1960s vintage 8 cast iron water main with 12 ductile iron and includes replacing hydrants. The scope is from Jordan Hall (Faucette Drive) to Morrill Drive and then along Morrill Drive to Rocky Branch Creek. NC State University has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting, and conducting business with women and minority-owned enterprises. Women and minority contractors are encouraged to participate in the prequalification process.
