The Peachtree Street trail extension is to connect Riverside Drive to Woodrow Wilson with additional infrastructure, including a pedestrian bridge over Belhaven Creek. The new trail will also enhance connectivity between the existing Riverside Drive multi-use trail, the UMMC campus, and other key locations, including the Old Canton Road trail system, the Museum Trail system, Laurel Street Park, Belhaven Heights Park, and the Belhaven Mountain Biking Trails. As of February 12, 2025, this project is to receive $440,000 in funding. Information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available.
