The City of Wabasso is requesting proposals from experienced residential solid waste haulers for collection of solid waste from all residential units in the City of Wabasso. Applicants. Must hold a current Redwood County Refuse Hauler License. The Hauler shall procure, at its own expense, all licenses, permits or other rights, required for the provision of services contemplated by the agreement.The hauler shall inform the City of any changes in the above within five (5) days of occurrence. General Conditions . The City of Wabasso reserves the right to contract with a solid waste hauler who does not submit the lowest proposal. The City of Wabasso reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the proposal documents, to negotiate with those submitting proposals as to any issues, and to reject any or all proposals. The solid waste collection hauler selected by the City shall be required to comply with the request of the contract. The requested Performance Bond and Certificate of Insurance shall be provided when the contract is executed. Submit six (6) copies of the proposal in a sealed mailing envelope, or package, with the responders name and address written on the outside. The envelope, or package, must be clearly identified with "Residential Solid Waste Collection and Disposal RFP" on the outside. Each copy of the proposal must be signed in ink by an authorized member of the firm. Submission by telephone facsimile is not acceptable. Proposal may be rejected if they show any alterations of form, additions not called for, conditional proposal not requested, erasures, or irregularities of any kind. Performance Bond. The hauler shall execute and deliver to the City a performance bond in the sum of $10,000.00 conditioned upon the faithful performance of the license terms. In the event the hauler fails to comply with the terms and conditions of the contract, the City may take all actions necessary to secure replacement solid waste, and recyclable collection for the remainder of any agreed upon contract term
