Renovation of a water / sewer project in Athens, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Raw Water Intake Generator for the following scope of work: o Installation of a 750 kW diesel generator, concrete foundation and associated electrical improvements at the Athens Municipal Water Authority, Raw Water Intake in the City of Athens, Henderson, County, Texas. Submit all questions concerning this project in writing to Elizabeth Borstad, PE, via email to eborstad@athenstx.gov no later than 5:00 PM CST on February 21, 2025. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Athens or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. The City of Athens reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Athens for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
