Reference Number 0000376088 Job Location: Broomfield, CO The purpose of this Solicitation is to secure an agreement for a consultant or consultant team to provide professional services for the Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard Traffic Signal Project. Such work shall be completed in a manner that meets or exceeds the Specifications. The City and County of Broomfield (City) desires to add a traffic signal at the intersection of Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard (see map below). The intersection at Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard is currently stop-sign controlled at the Miramonte Boulevard approach. Main Street traffic does not stop. This intersection, which is adjacent to Broomfield High School meets the peak hour traffic signal warrants during school drop off and pick up times as determined by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. In addition to the signal, the design must include tie-ins to the existing fiber optic network, street lighting updates and any required signage/striping. Project Budget: The total budget, including design, construction and ancillary items, for the Main Street and Miramonte Boulevard Traffic Signal Project intersection is about $1,280,000. Broomfield anticipates that based on the scope of work, this budget exceeds the estimated scope of work.
