This RFQ describes the tree and shrub planting stock required for the City of Charlottetown "2025 Charlottetown Tree Order - Streets and Parks". The City's Forest and Environmental Officer will work with the successful Supplier to arrange an agreeable delivery date. The City is requesting the following: 1. A quote for the City of Charlottetown's 2025 Spring Tree Order for Streets and Parks, as per Appendix B (90% of score). Prices are quoted by individual line items (species, size, subtotal) and while following the scoring guidelines (below), the City reserves the right to split orders to meet order specifications and/or if a benefit can be achieved. Details on how your company or product addresses City of Charlottetown Sustainable Procurement goals (10% of score): a. Greenhouse Gas Emission (GHG) considerations (i.e. how does your company work to reduce GHG's through your production or transportation of goods) b. Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (i.e. how does your company support a diverse, inclusive economy and inclusive hiring practices) c. Workforce development (i.e. how does your company provide skills training for equity-seeking groups) This RFQ creates no obligation on the part of the City of Charlottetown to award the contract or to reimburse bidders for RFQ preparation expenses. The City of Charlottetown reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotes, in whole or in part, received as a result of this request, and to negotiate in any manner necessary to best serve the interest of the City.
