Renovation of a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

https://www.bizjournals.com/memphis/news/2025/04/08/university-schools-acquire-school-campus-st-george.html The University Schools at the University of Memphis is set to have its first elementary school. In partnership with St. George's Independent School, the Memphis campus of St. George's will become part of the U of M's University Schools' new Innovative School District in the 2025-26 school year. The campus, located at 3749 Kimball Ave., will operate under its new name, the Campus School Kimball. The U of M Board of Trustees approved the acquisition of the Kimball campus at a special meeting on April 7. “This is an exciting opportunity for University Schools to expand its reach in the University District and aligns with the vision of our strategic expansion team,” said Sally Parish, Ed.D., vice provost and director of schools at the U of M, in a news release. “We appreciate the opportunity to continue the long-standing tradition of providing children with access to a high-quality education at this site and look forward to launching our district’s second public elementary school.” The Tennessee Legislature's 2024 Innovative School District Act, which authorized the U of M to operate a local education agency, cleared the way for the acquisition of the St. George's campus. District leaders have been working with a strategic expansion team to meet enrollment demands. The University Schools currently has a waitlist of over 2,000 students. Students at St. George's Memphis campus will have the opportunity to remain at Campus School Kimball as students in the University Schools' Innovative School District and then continue as University Schools middle and high school students, according to the release. The University Schools has over 1,200 students across its four schools and two partnerships. ______________________________________________________________________ Repair and replace existing HVAC mechanical systems in the existing Life Sciences and Psychology Auditorium Buildings on the University of Memphis campus Life Science Building, 3774 Walker Ave., Memphis, TN (Shelby County), Psychology Auditorium Building, 3710 Veterans Ave., Memphis, TN (Shelby County) Bidders shall be licensed and qualified per state law.
