Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

*** As of March 24th, 2025 the project was awarded to HANKINS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY but awarded amount is not available.**** The St. Louis Board of Education (d/b/a St. Louis Public Schools) (the "District") wishes to contract with a firm to renovate the auditoriums at Central VPA/Collegiate, Metro and Vashon High Schools. The renovations at Central VPA/Collegiate High School include the following improvements. The auditorium at Central VPA/Collegiate will be painted with some minor wall repairs both in the auditorium and backstage as well as receiving new flooring. We are replacing the catwalk wood walking treads with steel bar grates. There will be new lighting for both the auditorium and backstage, as well as theater lighting. There is a new sink in the scene shop, as well as an exhaust vent. The sound system will be improved with monitors added to the green room as well as other improvements. We will be adding a loading bridge to the stage lighting rigging system, and possibly new curtains. The auditorium renovations at Metro include the following improvements. It will be painted and have flooring provided throughout the indicated scope of work areas. There are some drywall repairs both on the walls and in the ceiling clouds. We are providing acoustical sealant at the tops of the auditorium and backstage walls. We are replacing the seating. There are mechanical improvements on the roof, in the main mechanical room, and in a small equipment room. Some of those improvements require structural improvements. There are improvements to the backstage, auditorium lighting, and stage lighting. There are improvements to the sound system and cameras are being installed. The auditorium renovations at Vashon include the following improvements. It will be painted and have new flooring provided throughout the indicated scope of work areas. There are substantial drywall repairs. We are replacing the RTU. There are improvements to the backstage, auditorium lighting, and stage lighting.
