Renovation of an educational facility in Oneonta, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The State University of New York at Oneonta is seeking qualifications from design firms/teams for the design and construction administration of the partial renovation of Grant residence hall. Renovation areas include the 1st Floor lobby, corridors, several program spaces, fire alarm upgrades, minor mechanical equipment updates. Responses to the Request For Qualifications (RFQ) must be submitted in the format listed in the RFQ. The RFQ for this project is available for download from the New York State Contract Reporter website. Contract term: August 2026 All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to: Deb Bruce at deb.bruce@oneonta.edu. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. For design costs that exceed $25,000, MWBE goals of 15% for Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE), 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) and overall goal of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) participation will apply. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for this project. Program Budget Construction budget $4,000,000 Change order contingency $275,000 Anticipated construction award: Jan 1st, 2026 Construction completion: July 24th, 2026
