The work consists of constructing new AC pavement along the west side of the existing Williamson Valley Road roadway prism to construct new left-turn lanes in the northbound and southbound directions. The work includes excavation, embankment, asphaltic concrete paving, erosion control, pavement markings, signing, and other related work. The amount programmed for this contract is $773,000.00. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 90 working days. The minimum contract-specified goal for participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in the work, as a percentage of the total amount bid, shall be 7.75. The Application for Contractor Prequalification may be obtained from the Contracts and Specifications website. A proposal guaranty in the form of either a certified or a cashier's check made payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid or in the form of a surety (bid) bond for 10 percent of the amount of the bid shall accompany the proposal.
