VILLAGE OF BOYCEVILLE is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: BOYCEVILLE WWTF UPGRADES The Project includes the following Work: At the WWTF (STR. 20, 21, 22, 23, & 24) - Equipment demolition, selective structural demolition, new wood framed blower and electrical building with metal siding, standing seam metal roofing, and concrete foundation. New positive displacement blowers, electrical equipment, lagoon fine and coarse bubble aeration, lagoon surface aerators, groundwater process well, valves, piping, flow meters, level elements, erosion control, painting, plumbing, HVAC, instrumentation & controls, and SCADA system. Lift Station No. 1 (STR. 11) - Equipment demolition, selective structural demolition, new dry pit raw wastewater pumps, valves, piping, flowmeters, level elements, painting, electrical equipment, control panel, instrumentation & controls, and telemetry. Lift Station No. 2 (STR. 12) - Equipment demolition, selective structural demolition, new dry pit raw wastewater pumps, valves, piping, flowmeters, level elements, painting, electrical equipment, control panel, generator, instrumentation & controls, and telemetry. Lift Station No. 3 (STR .13) - Selective structural demolition, new submersible raw wastewater pumps, new FRP wetwell and valve vault, valves, piping, flowmeters, level elements, erosion control, painting, electrical equipment, control panel, generator, instrumentation & controls, and telemetry. Owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $8,476,000. The Project has an expected duration of 2 years. The anticipated substantial completion date is August 1, 2026 and final completion date is September 30, 2026. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than online. Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
