This Formal Tender invites qualified vendors to submit tenders for the construction of a new municipal shop designed to house two (2) municipal graders, two (2) ½ ton trucks, a Public Works office, lunchroom, and bathroom facilities. The successful vendor(s) will be expected to provide high standards of service, with an emphasis on warranty offerings and exceptional customer support throughout the project. The scope of work is divided into the following categories, allowing vendors the flexibility to submit bid submissions for one (1), multiple or all aspects of the requested work below. 2.1 Site Preparation 2.2 Municipal Shop 2.3 Interior Structures 2.4 Cement Work 2.5 Electrical 2.6 Gas 2.7 Plumbing 2.8 Aggregate Materials 2.9 Permits 2.10 Drawings Supply all materials and prepare site for new municipal shop including, but not limited to the following criteria: Remove existing footing and materials from 40' x 60' machined shed site. Supply and install four (4") inches weeping tile around the perimeter of the shop and apron (south side). Supply and install a 300-500 gallon holding tank and connect to weeping tile. Prepare site for 100' x 60'municipal shop cement pad. Install minimum eight (8) oz. geotextile with a minimum 24" overlap. Excavate approximately three (3) feet and place 24" of C-base and 12" A-base. Pit run and A-base as required. Compact with a 98% compaction rate.
