Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Manalapan, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of the replacement of existing concrete curb with granite block curb, reconstruction of concrete driveway aprons, and ADA curb ramp improvements on Bunker Hill Drive, Valley Forge Way, Lee Road, Princeton Drive, McIntosh Lane, Forman Court, Forman Lane, Wayne Court, and Wilson Court in Manalapan, New Jersey. All storm sewer inlets within the project limits shall be reconstructed and retro-fitted with bicycle safe grates and Type 'N' ECO castings as required by the Tier "A" Municipal Stormwater Regulations. Approximate construction quantities for significant bid items include 20,000 LF of granite block curb, 1,200 SY of concrete driveways, 300 SY of concrete sidewalk, and 1,700 LF of 6" HDPE pipe. The said Contract Documents and Proposal sheets may be examined at the office of the Manalapan Township Clerk, 120 Freehold - Englishtown Road (Route 522) and Taylors Mills Road, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Bids must be furnished on the proposal sheets included in the Contract Documents, enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to the Mayor and Township Committee, Township of Manalapan, New Jersey and plainly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the Contract Number and Title. Bids hand-delivered may be placed in a drop box for the Manalapan Township Clerk and the Municipal Offices at 120 Freehold - Englishtown Road (Route 522) and Taylors Mills Road, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid payable without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the bidder, he will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the bid security as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. No interest shall be allowed upon any such certified check. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid may be substituted for certified check, except the amount of the bid security shall not be less than $500.00 - nor more than $20,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate of Experience and Certificate of Equipment. The Township reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The Township reserves the right to award this contract based on funds available. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a surety company bond in the full amount of the contract price indemnifying the Township of Manalapan, New Jersey for all proceedings, suits or actions of any kind of description and conditional for the faithful performance of the work. The Township Committee of the Township of Manalapan reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Township to do so.
