The project has 4 bid packages: Bid Package #1 - Playground Equipment & Surfacing Bid Package #2 - Selective Demolition, Earthwork, and Concrete Bid Package #3 - Seal Coat & Striping Bid Package #4 - Synthetic Turf As described in the Instruction to Bidders, bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the project name and bid package. A bid security, as stipulated in the bid documents, in the amount of 5% of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder if the bid amount exceeds $50,000. All Bidders for this project are required to meet all qualification requirements as established in these bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities or minor irregularities in any bid. Question Deadline 02/27/2025 Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the bid documents, or be in doubt as to their meaning, he must notify the Construction Manager in writing five (5) working days prior to the bid opening. . Provide all required labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the following scope to include but not limited to: a. Demolish items indicated in construction plans b. Layout and construction staking for this scope c. Grading to achieve specified elevations and drainage requirements including installation of imported topsoil as required d. Install drainage system components at the project site e. Install drainage layer underneath the engineered wood fiber mulch f. Install concrete items including reinforcing steel (excludes playground equipment foundations) g. Install basketball goal (provided by others) as indicated in construction plans h. Relocate existing soccer goals as indicated in construction plans i. Relocate existing benches as indicated in construction plans j. Joint sealants required for this scope k. Install erosion control for entire project site l. Package includes fine grading, soil preparation, and installation of topsoil as required m. Remediate areas affected by construction including fine grading for sod installation by others
