The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a requirements contract to provide vegetative debris (yard waste) processing services for Chesterfield County's Waste & Resource Recovery Division (WARR) of General Services (herein referred to as "the County"). Yard waste processing services from service locations shall include the following: A. Grinding of yard waste for volume reduction. B. Grinding and screening of yard waste for processing into recycled material (mulch) as requested. C. Transportation and/or oversight of transportation to remove processed material for recycling from service locations. D. Removal of stumps, oversized wood, woody debris, and clean soil that cannot be processed by a horizontal grinder. E. Performance of all other functions and obligations relative or ancillary to the described services. The Contractor shall provide yard processing services on an “on-call” basis. The Contractor shall arrive on-site within two weeks of a County request for service.
