This Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) is an advisory to the industry for the upcoming Two Stage Procurement (RFPQ & ITT) that BGIS will be issuing for a General Contractor to provide construction services for the CNS Elevators Upgrade at 11140 109 St. NW, Edmonton, Alberta. This project involves the replacement and modernization of five elevators at the RCMP K Facility. The scope includes installing new elevator cabins and motors, incorporating high-efficiency regenerative drive technology. These advanced systems will enhance energy efficiency by recovering and repurposing excess energy generated during elevator operation, aligning with recommendations from the Carbon Neutral Study. The upgrades will improve reliability, reduce energy consumption, and contribute to the facility's sustainability objectives.
