Reference Number 0000281292 1.3.1 The Contractor is to provide maintenance and support services for all identified buildings, works and associated infrastructure within the defined property limits in a manner and to a standard that will not cause the buildings to deteriorate beyond normal wear and tear throughout the Contract term. 1.3.2 During the term of the Contract, the buildings and infrastructure may be subject to change i.e. additions, removals, regulatory changes, DND Operations. 1.3.3 The inventory of buildings to maintain and support is made up of 210 buildings with a total gross area of 398,066 m² at CFB Trenton and 16,115 m² at the support satellite sites. In addition to the buildings there are parking lots, sidewalks, airfield runway, taxiway and aprons, roads and landscaped areas that form part of the contracted Site. Detail regarding the Site and its associated infrastructure is provided in the Information Annexes to the SOW. 1.3.4 The sites which form the contract include: CFB Trenton, Belleville and Peterborough Armouries, Canadian Forces Det Mountain View, Point Petre and Carrying Place receiver sites. For further details refer to the attached SOW. 1.3.5 The required services include, but may not be limited to, the following: 1 Hard Services: Building Envelope Maintenance, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems, Door Systems, Electrical Systems, Elevators, Lifting Systems, Racking Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Generators and Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) Systems, Life Safety Systems, Security Systems and Access Control Systems, Oil Water Separators and Other Tanks, Kitchen Appliances and Equipment and Range and Training Area Systems. 2 Soft Services: Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Services, Paint Refinishing Equipment Services, Airfield Maintenance Services and Building Operator Services. .3 Support services: Service Management and Coordination, Maintenance Program Management, Emergency Readiness and Response, Asset Investment Advice and Help Desk Services. 1.3.6 Refer to Section 1.2 of the SOW for a more detailed description of the Scope of Services required. 1.3.7 All deliverables required for this FM Contract must be provided in English. The initial Period of Service will be five (5) years. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the Period of Service may be extended for up to two (2) additional three (3) year periods, for a possible total of eleven (11) years.
