Bids are invited for several items of work, including replacing approximately including replacing approximately 3,205 LF of 6" SDR 26 CL 160 PVC Sewer Line, 4,738 LF of 8" SDR 26 CL 160 PVC Sewer Line, 16 Replacement Manholes, 26 New Manholes, 3,572 LF of pavement repair, and 51 Service transfers. he OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the form of a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City of Bowie, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the BIDDER of an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. All bids shall remain good and may not be withdrawn for 90 calendar days from the date of the bid opening, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the BIDDER'S qualifications prior to contract award. This project is contingent on TWDB approval. Any contract(s) or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Proposals (RFP), or Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is/are expected to be funded in part by financial assistance from the TWDB. Neither the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the State of Texas, nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this IFB, RFP, RFQ or any resulting contract.
