Reference Number 0000376232 Delivery Point: Chaffee County, CO Bid Intent Not Available The City of Salida, Colorado, is accepting proposals from qualified firms for the evaluation, site design, and other professional services related to a new municipal water tank for the City of Salida proposed to be located at 8475 County Road 120 in Chaffee County, Colorado. New water storage facilities are needed for providing resiliency during peak day events and to accommodate future growth within the municipal services area. The City currently has two water tanks in addition to clear wells at three other locations. The proposed location for the Mesa Tank is adjacent to an existing 1 million gallon tank and located on a City owned parcel. The existing tank is proposed to remain in service and the new tank is planned immediately north of the existing tank and will connect to the existing water main with new valving and a new fire hydrant. The new tank is anticipated to be approximately 1 million gallons of steel fabrication with structural design completed by the tank manufacturer.
