Site work and paving for a road / highway in Trinity, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The proposed project consisting of approximately: 1,000 tons of asphalt plant mix topping, 12,000 s.y. of straight-seal, 10,000 linear feet or 4,500 s.y. of edge profiling. This project is being funded with Powell Bill Funds that MUST be spent by July 1, 2025. All work shall be in accordance with the current NCDOT Specifications and City of Trinity Contract Specifications. The contractor shall have until Friday, June 20, 2025, to complete the work. This project will be available after March 21, 2025. Each bid should be submitted upon the bid form provided in the Specifications. The method of award will be the lowest responsible bid. The successful bidder should have insurance with the following limits: Workers Compensation and Employers Liability - statutory requirements. Automobile & General Liability: $1,000,000.00 Combined single limit $1,000,000.00 General aggregate $1,000,000.00 Personal injury $2,000,000.00 Excess liability or// $1,000,000.00 Combined single limit $4,000,000.00 Umbrella for auto and general liability Additionally, the City of Trinity shall be named as an Additional Insured and Loss Payee. The City of Trinity reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
