Estimated project cost of $500,000 Prime Contractors – Expansion Joints (General Contractors) Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted to bflynn@ massconvention.com in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 26th, 2025. This project includes providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide repairs for interior expansion joint repairs at 8 locations, all as more fully set forth in the Drawings and Notes. Each bid shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and also a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form. Attention is called to the minimum rates of wages to be paid on the work as determined under the provisions of Chapter 149, Massachusetts General Laws, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive, as amended, and as set forth in the Contract Documents, which the contractor will be required to pay. The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party.
