In addition to evaluating bridge design elements, the study will consider alternative alignments, environmental impacts, right-of-way and utility issues, safety concerns, operational issues, traffic patterns, and/or any other factors necessary to determine a preferred set of improvement alternatives at this location. A key component of the study will include public outreach and engagement efforts (with residents, stakeholders, local governments, etc.). The result of this study will be a set of project recommendations that outline preferred alternatives, and the costs (and funding sources) associated with those alternatives.
