Pursuant to RFP #24-27, which is incorporated herein by reference, the following Request for Task Order Quotation is issued to all qualified Offerors. All terms, conditions, and provisions of RFP #24-27 are applicable to this Request For Task Order Quotation ("RFTOQ") and are in full force and effect. Any questions regarding this RFTOQ shall be directed to the SBAC Purchasing Department at (352) 955-7582. SUMMARY OF WORK: The proposed work for the EHS security upgrades to Eastside High School includes, but is not limited to, the following: Enhance main entry security by adding a new door for visitors into the reception office. An accessible walkway with a canopy will be provided at the new entrance. Existing reception casework will be replaced and an aluminum storefront window with a transaction tray will be added. Existing Dean's Office will be reallocated as Resource Officer Office and a separate entrance will be created for new Dean's Office from the corridor. TIME OF COMPLETION. Time is of the essence. Task Order award will be made on April 1st, 2025. The Notice to Proceed will be issued shortly thereafter. The Work shall be Substantially Complete no later than August 8th, 2025, approximately one hundred twenty-nine (129) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be fourteen (14) calendar days following Substantial Completion. PAYMENT/PERFORMANCE Bonds in the form prescribed by AIA Document A312, in the amount of 100% of the Task Order amount, shall be required for quotations over $200,000. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES in the amount of $500.00 per day shall be paid by qualified Offeror to SBAC in accordance with RFP #24-27. DIRECT PURCHASE PROCEDURES are not in effect for this RFTOQ, in accordance with RFP #24-27. DRAWINGS. At this time, Task Order Quotations will be opened publicly. Late Task Order Quotations will not be accepted. Faxed Task Order Quotations will not be accepted. Sales tax is only applied to materials purchased directly by a Quoter. In all other respects, the SBAC is tax exempt. Task Order award will be made to the qualified Quoter submitting the lowest price Task Order Quotation.
