The Port of Harlingen is soliciting proposals from qualified and interested contracting firms for rehabilitation, repair and replacement of existing dock and mooring structures, referred to as "Dock Repair and Renovation Project." Selection of the Contracting Services will be in accordance with procurement standards set for in 2 CFR 200, in Appendix II to 2 CFR Part 200 - Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts under Federal Awards. This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD) and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Port is requesting qualifications from firms interested in providing the Port with Dock 1 and 2 rehabilitation, renovation and repair. The information listed below constitutes the minimum required information to bid; any additional information provided will be considered. 1. A Lump Sum price to complete the work. The price shall be broken down as outlined in the Bid Cost Breakdown sheet provided at Bidder's request to Bing Zhang. 2. Estimated construction schedule. 3. Construction schedule shall allow for a 24-hour period per week for dock operations. Questions submitted after the deadline will not be answered. Telephone or verbal questions will not be accepted. All questions and answers will be provided to all Bidders. Pre bid meeting notes: To gain entry to the Port, the bidder's representative shall have a valid TWIC card. The bidder's representative shall bring their own PPE including hard hat, life vest, safety boots and safety glasses. Additional site visits may be available upon request.
