Site work for a water / sewer project in Tofino, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Olsen Road Storm Main project involves the construction of storm drainage infrastructure from Pacific Rim Highway to the shoreline on Olsen Road. The infrastructure will replace parts of an older drainage system and add new sections and a formalized storm outfall. The system will also take into consideration future developments in the area. Currently a culvert (circled below) crosses underneath the highway and discharges onto private property before travelling across other private property for discharge at the foreshore. This project will redirect stormwater from private property to a municipal road ending at the permitted outfall at the base of Olsen Road.
