Site work and paving for a civil project in Rowley, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project involves the construction of a 750’ roadway to provide viable access to subdivision lots owned by the Town. The construction plan includes the reconfiguration of the entrance on Route 1A (Main Street), expansion of the roadway width, infrastructure improvements including stormwater drainage and a water main, as well as paving. All questions with respect to this Invitation for Bid must be received in writing by email (procurement@townofrowley.org). All questions must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025. The Town of Rowley will receive bids from qualified companies for the Elmwood Lane Utility Extension and Paving Project. This bid is being solicited, and will be awarded, pursuant to the provisions set forth in MGL Ch. 30 Section 39M. Prevailing wage rates apply. Bidders must submit MassDOT Prequalification Certificates for the categories of Highway - Construction and Bridge - Culvert. One (1) original and one (1) copy of the bid are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Elmwood Lane Utility Extension and Paving Project" and must include a 5% bid security deposit. Bid award to be made by the Board of Selectmen to the lowest bidder. The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids if deemed in the best interest of the Town. Bid documents will be available Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Office of the Board of Selectmen, Rowley Town Hall, 139 Main St., ROWLEY, MA. 01969.
