The project likely be awarded by March 25, 2025.** CCM Academic Complex Roof Replacement Project County College of Morris, in connection with a single overall construction contract for the CCM Academic Complex Roof Replacement Project in accordance with the Project specifications and drawings. Bid proposals for the above single overall construction contract will be received from bidders registered with the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Department of Labor, and classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC). Bidder shall submit with the bid a current prequalification certificate issued by DPMC for one of the following classifications: C008 - General Contractor In addition, the bidder is required to identify in the bid proposal, any subcontractor proposed to perform electrical work, plumbing and gas fitting work, structural steel or ornamental iron work, or HVAC work. The listed subcontractors must hold a current DPMC prequalification certificate in the indicated trade. Where a subcontractor is not listed for one of the foregoing specialty trades the Bidder will be deemed to have elected to perform the trade work with Bidder's own workforce. Each bidder shall also be registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq. and is requested to provide a valid current contractor registration certificate with its bid. Any bid submitted without a copy of a valid and active prequalification/classification certificate, may be rejected as non-responsive to the bid requirements. Bidders must use and complete fully the Bid Forms provided with the Bid Specifications and comply with all requirements set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and on the Bid Documents, including submission of bid security in the total amount of bid, in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or surety Bid Bond, furnished by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Affirmative Action, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, NJ State Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq., and "New Jersey Business Registration Requirements," 2009, c. 315. These compliance requirements are described in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids in accordance with applicable law, N.J.S.A. 18A:64A-25.15., and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
