Project consists of: Installation of six (6) baffle curtains (1,560 LF) in Cell #2 and Cell #3 of the South WWTP; and construction of one (1) each drainage control structure at the Effluent Distribution System; miscellaneous sitework, and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Contract Term: 120 calendar days Construction Cost Estimate: $280,000 Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid documents are also available at online. Electronic bids are accepted. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Mayor, City of Hammond; 310 East Charles Street; Hammond, LA 70401. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within ten (10) days after receipt of Bids (March 24, 2025) will receive a full refund ($50.00). Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
