The City of Hemet is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide the removal and replacement of 6 Lennox 5-ton split HVAC units and replace with 6 new 5-ton HVAC split units, including all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to perform the project at the City of Hemet Fire Dept Administration Building located 510 E Florida Ave within Hemet's city limits, in accordance with the included bid specifications. Online Q&A : Yes Q&A Deadline : 02/26/2025 3:00 PM (PST) Project Duration :30 Calendar Days SCOPE OF WORK -Remove 6 5-ton split HVAC units from roof and inside building dog-house. -Remove all electrical components and conduit from electrical disconnect to HVAC units -Reclaim all existing refrigerant and properly dispose -Replace 6 5-ton HVAC split units using the required R454B refrigerant. 6 Condensers on the rooftop and 6 Furnace/Air Handlers inside the dog-house. Units must meet current CA standards. -Install new electrical wiring and conduit from Disconnect to HVAC units. -Install new copper condensate lines -Reconnect new HVAC units to existing ducting. Repair ducting as needed. -Reconnect gas lines to new HVAC units -Connect HVAC system to existing Thermostats. -Protect existing components on the roof -Provide full test of units after install is complete -Contractor to handle any necessary permits, plan fees and engineered drawings as needed for this project
