Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project aims to develop the city skate park site by installing new concrete sidewalks, paving an asphalt parking lot, and extending utilities to service the area. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum with unit prices included for the purpose of change order negotiation when necessary. The City of Shepherdsville reserves the right to award the bid based on consideration of all factors and not solely on low bid for the lump sum portion. Any questions regarding the bid should be submitted by email to Arthur Jones at ajones@shepherdsvilleky.gov. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If so desired, please email the email address of the individual seeking to review the plans and specifications to Rob Campbell at rcampbell@qk4.com and a link will be emailed. Completion- June 27, 2025. Question Deadline 02/24/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing . Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
