Renovation of a transportation facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Any questions concerning the proposal shall be addressed and submitted in writing no later than close of business, 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, to: Dylan Copeland, Assistant Project Manager dcopeland@mobairport.com The Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, equipment, material, licensing, insurance, and any incidentals to perform HVAC Replacement Services for the Mobile Airport Authority. The scope of work shall include the replacement of all HVAC units (excluding ACC #1 and CRAC units) & controls as detailed in the plans and specs. The Contractor will be responsible for determining measurements, materials and official scope of work for bidding purposes. The Contractor shall also provide a construction timeline. 2. The Contractor shall provide three (3) alternate prices to: a. Replace the Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units b. Clean the Ducts c. Provide a One (1) Year Maintenance Program 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and inspections required. All permits and inspections reports shall be submitted to MAA for documenting purposes. 4. The Contractor shall submit to MAA for review and approval any pertinent work identified during the project that falls outside of the scope of work. Said work that directly relates to and or affects the warranty of the project, will be quoted by the contractor at the original quoted labor rate and material rate as outlined in the RFP. Any work identified during the project that is verified by MAA to be of a different nature, and falls outside the submitted plan of action, shall be quoted by the contractor if able. MAA reserves the right to reject in full or solicit outside quotes for any additional work as deemed necessary. 5. The Contractor shall maintain detailed material/labor tracking sheets and pictures each day and shall submit to the MAA representative each week. 6. The Contractor and MAA shall conduct a walkthrough within 72 hours of project completion. Any punch list items identified during the walkthrough shall be corrected by the contractor within 5 business days. 7. The Contractor will be responsible for always maintaining a clean work environment, FOD control, waste disposal, and temporary toilets. The contractor shall supply all means of waste control and removal, including any dumpster needs. 8. The Contractor shall remove all equipment, material and waste containers from MAA property within 3 Calendar days of project completion. 9. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage incurred to MAA or tenant property by its employees. Said damage must be repaired/resolved within 5 business days. A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goal of 2.11% has been established for this project
