Site work and paving for a road / highway in Frisco, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project scope includes clearing, grubbing, excavation and lot grading. The project scope includes 38 acres of clearing and grubbing, 29,000 cubic yards of excavation and lot grading for 162 lots. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified. The Owner is not obligated to accept the lowest bid or any bid.The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids or in bidding. The Owner may accept the bid of any responsible person deemed most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
